One wish

Hey what's up peeps? Went shopping with my family today at Compass Point's Metro. Mom said there was a 1 hour member's sale or something. So we went there to get our stuff and headed over to Jalan Kayu for dinner. Food was terrible. I don't know why people like to get munchies there. I've tasted food way better.

9 more days to my presumably so-called 'big day'. Yup, 9 more days and I'll turn 18. At this point of time, I understand that most teenagers awaiting their 18th birthdays would normally plan where to go, who to meet, what to do, etc. Some might even go drinking, clubbing and partying coz they just officially turned 'legal'. Not me. Totally not my type of scene. I might not even be going out. I might be working on my birthday. Or maybe I'll just have a simple outing with my best friend and that's it. Notice I said best friend and not friends coz I find it troublesome to go out with a big clique. Just think about it. More people means there's alot more needs and opininons to cater to. And we might end up wasting time arguing over where to go or what to do rather than enjoying ourselves.

And birthdays usually come with wishes too. And my wish this year ain't fancy. It ain't expensive or extravagant or whatever. I just want to be happy.  Not just happy. I wanna be truly happy. I mean like really happy you know? It's been a long time since I've felt truly happy. Speaking of happy, I just thought of the movie The Pursuit of Happyness by Will Smith. It's not a new movie but for those who have not watched it, go and do it now. It's a heart-string tugger that one. Real good movie. Oh by the way, watch this space in the coming week or so. There will be big news. I just don't know whether it'll be good or bad.

The greatest accomplishment is not in not ever falling.
It's in getting up everytime we do.
