Euphoria With A Twist

Today marks the 4th day of the fasting month. And I have fasted for 3 days straight without fail. A remarkable feat by my standards. Anyway, life during fasting month is mundane. But what has kept me going are some of the nice and positive things that has happened so far.

My uncle and his family are currently staying over at my place as his house is under renovation. So that gives my house that warm family feeling that has been missing for a while. There is more atmosphere and noise at the dinner table and that is always good. Him staying at my house also means I get to bully and tease his son who is so fun to mess around with.

The other piece of good news for me is that the response for Project Funday has been fairly positive. Not alot of people has responded but so far, none except for ONE has complained about the financial contribution needed. Cmon', like I said, the more people attending the event, the lesser you pay. So start spreading the word! And if you happen to have any contacts that you think might help lower down the entire cost of the event, (Catering, T-shirt making, etc.) please do not hesitate to tell me. Help me help you.

Last and not least, there are 4 things I'm looking forward to this month. The first being Marvin's birthday outing, the second, breaking fast with the MDIS clique, the third would be getting a job at Concorde Hotel and the last would be Hari Raya! Haha! Yeah, I know its still a long way but no harm waiting for it with anticipation right?

But nevertheless, I gotta keep my feet on the ground even with all the good things that has happened so far. Because my problems, they are still there.
